A label by
Kashmir Wedding.
Eleven years of telling stories — across Kashmir, across India, and wherever love has taken us since.
We keep the number of projects we take on deliberately limited.
Good work needs time, attention, and intention. Staying small keeps us personally involved in every story, and ensures growth never comes at the expense of the work.
VASL is a label by Kashmir Wedding.
Our journey began in 2015, when Kashmir Wedding started documenting weddings across Kashmir. Before that, our team had already spent years photographing and exploring Kashmir — its landscapes, people, culture, and ever-changing light. That experience shaped the way we see, photograph, and tell stories.
As Kashmir Wedding grew, so did our work. What began in Kashmir eventually took us across India, while our work expanded beyond weddings into pre-weddings, destination celebrations, and brand collaborations.
Along the way, Aamir Beigh and Suhail Beigh have had the opportunity to work with leading Indian and international brands, bringing those experiences into the way we approach photography and films.
We created VASL as a distinct label dedicated to pre-weddings, destination weddings, and films. The idea was simple: to create a space that could be recognised independently for this kind of work, while carrying forward the experience, people, and foundation built through Kashmir Wedding.
We have been telling stories for more than 11 years. Our team has grown, our work has taken us further, and our experience continues to evolve. Yet one thing has remained deliberate: we keep the number of projects we take on limited.
For us, photography and films are not simply about creating beautiful photographs and films. They are about understanding the people in front of the camera — their connection, personalities, comfort, and the moments that make their story uniquely theirs.
Because ultimately, your story matters.
Eleven years,
still counting.
Creating timeless visual stories across the world.
